During your studies of Computer Science you will also need to pass courses in one of the application subjects.These are other subjects offered by Kiel University.

The courses of the application subject that need to be passed during the Bachelor's degree program are worth 17 ECTS-achievementpoints (LP).

Prehistoric and Historic Archeology

Start of your studies is in a winter semester including the modules Ag1, Ag2 and Bg2.

  • Ag1: Proseminar I (research history, theories and methods), compulsory, 4 LP
  • Ag2: Proseminar II (Introduction to Prehistoric Archeology), optional compulsory, 4 LP


Alternative to Ag2:

At this moment, only 10 students per semester may take the minor subject Psychology. Should you wish to choose Psychology as your minor subject, please contact the examination office of Computer Science as soon as possible.
