Study program

Our master's degree program is designed to give you high flexibility. Please take advantage of this flexibility if you have to fullfil imposed preconditions. - According to the regulations of the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) one academic year corresponds to 60 ECTS credits that are normally equivalent to 1500–1800 hours of total workload. Therefore one semester corresponds to 30 ECTS credits. Please keep in mind that the imposed preconditions for the winter term correspond to up to 18 ECTS credits and for the summer term to up to 8 ECTS. With regard that the German course corresponds to 6 ECTS credits you have 6 to 14 or 16 ECTS credits left for master modules in the winter term and 16 ECTS in the summer term.

You may choose them according to the recommendation given in our computer science master program in english, named "Computer Science", or you may choose differently. In the last case please make sure to fullfil the requirements of the Degree-Specific Examination Regulations (FPO) for Computer Science (1-subject, Master). If you have any questions please contact our student advisor for international students PD Dr. Frank Huch.
