Who can you turn to?

In the department of Computer Science, the basic rule is that both professors and employees are always approachable or writeable. Some have advertised explicit consultation hours for this purpose, others always have an open door, while for others it helps to write an e-mail briefly beforehand.

The following applies to e-mails: it should always contain everything that is necessary for further processing. It starts with the name -- yes, experience shows that we actually have to mention that extra here. For problems with homework, screenshots and hints on what has been tried unsuccessfully to solve the problem help. The following always applies: politely formulated e-mails with all the necessary information increase the probability of getting a (helpful) answer.
