Computer rooms

The department has several computer rooms, which are equipped with HP ThinClients and access to the wireless local area network (WLAN). Times, during which these rooms are reserved for courses, can be found in the UniVIS or on the notes on the doors of the rooms. The rest of the time, students with a valid account can use the terminals. 

Please keep in mind, that you are responsible to close the windows and switch off the lights, when you leave theses rooms. Please inform the respective responsible of the room about cases of damage or malfunction.  

CAP4 (highrise) Room 709

In room 709, on the 7th floor of the highrise (Christian-Albrechts-Platz 4) are 26 work stations, which are reserved for students only. The room is public domain; a reservation is not necessary. Every place has a connection for power supply and access to the local area network (LAN), 4 places are equipped with a monitor and a terminal.

CAP4 (highrise) Room 1019

In room 1019, on the 10th floor of the highrise (Christian-Albrechts-Platz 4) are work stations, which are reserved for 2-subjects-students only. In general the room isn't locked. Please adress to the staff of the neigbouring rooms if you find it locked.

HRS 3 Room 105a/105b Basic Education Pool (GAP)

The Basic Education Pool (GAP) consists of two computer rooms with 16 terminals each. They are located in Hermann-Rodewald-Straße 3 (House I) in the basement, room 105a and 105b. Room 105b is equipped with a printer, on which you can print with your CampusCard.

HRS 3 Room 501-503 (Practical Digital Design)

The computer room for the course Practical Digital Design is in room 501-503, Hermann-Rodewald-Straße 3 (House I), on the 3rd floor. It is furthermore equipped with the two printers hpwk and hpms. The room is mainly used for the course Practical Digital Design. When not in use, the room may be used by students.

Further places of work (Specialised Library)

There are 38 places of work at the Specialised Library "Mathematics/Computer Science/Computing Center" in Ludewig-Meyn-Str. 4. 9 of the places are fitted with internet, all places have access to the wireless local area network (WLAN); a reservation is not necessary.
